Established in 1996, The Culture House has been fortunate to grow with Kansas City into one of the thriving arts cities in the country. Who can forget the opening of the world-famous Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and how it has changed our city, changed our lives? And now, year after year, Kansas City has more young people cultivating their creative and performing gifts, an ever-growing audience interested in a broader spectrum of the arts, and more people engaging in community, relationships and ideas.
And so, I am excited to announce our vision to add to this beautiful city, a new performing and fine arts education and performance center. God has given all of us the gift of the arts. They are a gift that brings people together to be inspired by great ideas, excellence and creativity. We want to encourage the next generation of young artists, build up our community and share the stories and melodies that encourage a healthy, vibrant community.
Our main facility has been busting at the seam for years, and there are new, local performing groups and fine artists in need of stages and exhibition space. If there’s one deficit in Kansas City it is that we are woefully behind other cities in the area of stages and spaces for the arts. Not for long! The new Culture House Arts Center will have a state-of-the-art educational facility as well as stages and exhibit space for both the professional and amateur artists.

Kansas City has a blazingly bright future. We’re excited to be a part of it!
