Giving & Getting Involved: Why Give?

Benefits of Giving

Art has power. It has power to shape our imaginations, hearts and minds. It can fill a person with hope or despair. Art can reflect the stories of our lives as well as shape those stories.

The Culture House is a community organization that understands this deeply. We take the responsibility of being an artist very seriously. We create things that call out our greatest good and inspire our highest hopes.

With our new 20,000 square foot state of the art performing arts center, The Culture House can inspire young artist in the Judeo-Christian perspective of life, encouraging them to be the most effective members of our community.

Through the STAR program, The Culture House is reaching beyond our everyday community and reaching children at risk through the arts.

It is only through the generous support of our friends that we can meet our mandate of "benefiting our community through education and the performing arts."

Following is a summary of TCH’s programs that instill a life-long appreciation for the arts and build ongoing patron support.

Our goal is to expand the program to reach over 2000 Children on a regular basis.
  • Dance, Music, and Theater classes, ensembles, and masterclasses for over 600 students, taught by a distinguished, faculty.
  • Arts-in-the-schools programs reaching private school and home school students in the Kansas City community, with a comprehensive curriculum.
  • Performance opportunities for artist of all levels.
  • Scholorships for arts education for those in need.
