As a community-supported arts and education organization, The Culture House relies on the support of individuals, families, businesses and philanthropic organizations to help us continue to offer excellent programs with family values in a kid friendly environment.
A gift to The Culture House Supports:
- The STAR Program: This program introduces at risk children to the disciplines the arts can offer. Through education, children are not only taught in the arts but are encouraged to work together. The program's goal is to give children hope and to build character.
- Dance, Music, and Theater classes, ensembles, and master-classes for over 600 students, taught by a distinguished faculty.
- Arts-in-the-schools programs reaching private school and home school students in the Kansas City community, with a comprehensive curriculum.
- Performance opportunities for artist of all levels.
- Scholarships for arts education for those in need.
CASH AND NON-CASH CONTRIBUTIONS:

The Culture House is home to over 500 families and through our Dance and Theater productions, along with highly acclaimed professional performances by Störling Dance Theater; The Culture House reaches an annual audience of over 35,000 patrons.

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME:
Each year an army of volunteers contribute over 33,000 hours of time to help make The Culture House the premier arts academy in Kansas City. Our volunteers provide help in Set Building, Costuming, Building Maintenance, Administration, Fundraising and much more. PLANNED GIVING
Planned Giving is a process that a donor can leave money/assets to a nonprofit from their estate at the end of their life; or a way to invest money so that the donor receives benefits during his/her life and then bequeaths the remaining funds to the nonprofit.
