The biggest and best songs of Broadway are coming to TCH this summer! Join us for Broadway Starz: A Musical Revue as students learn songs and choreography from some of the best and most beloved shows on Broadway! Students will move and groove to tunes like "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray and "I Won't Grow Up" from Peter Pan. The students will perform the revue Friday evening of their workshop week. Other activities include Theater Games and Team Time.



June 11-15:
Half Day Theater: Under the Sea: A Fish Tale!
Ages: 4-6
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Cost: $105

An under the sea adventure is upon us! A zany school of colorful fish are ready to teach us some important lessons as we dive deep into the delightful tides of the ocean! Be a part of this school of fish with songs like "The Funky Feeding Frenzy Rap" and many more!

The students will spend each the session learning songs, choreography and dialogue to this 15 minute musical to be performed Friday evening of their workshop week. Other activities include Theater Games, Craft Time, Snack Time and Team Time.



June 18-29:
2 Week Musical Intensive: GODSPELL
Ages 13+
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Cost: $375 Total for 2 Weeks

Performances will be the evenings of Friday, June 29th and Saturday, June 30th.
Audition Day and Time: Monday, June 18th at 9:00 a.m. (Auditions held only to determine parts.)

Based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, GODSPELL boasts a string of well-loved songs, As the cast performs "Day by Day," "Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord," "Learn Your Lessons Well," "All For The Best," "All Good Gifts," and "By My Side," the parables of Jesus Christ come humanly and hearteningly to life. GODSPELL is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love.

Cast members will spend each rehearsal day learning songs, choreography and dialogue to perform the entire musical and full-scale production at the end of only 2 weeks! All students will audition for their role on the first day (see more info below). As an intensive, students will help design and collect props, costumes, and sets and be a part of the whole process from beginning to end!

Please bring 16 measures of a musical theater song for auditions. Karaoke CD or Sheet Music is allowed (no a cappella auditions please). Accompanist provided. Please wear clothes and shoes you feel comfortable moving in. No dresses, sandals or flip flops please.
Role assignments will be made on the afternoon of the first day.

Full Day: Stuntman Stage and Film Combat Workshop
Ages 7-14
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Cost: $160

The students will spend each day learning fighting positions, choreography, discipline, physical training and acting for the performance combat show to be presented Friday evening of their workshop week. This is a workshop for those students truly interested in the believable dramatic action of stage fighting! Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. **BONUS … Seminar in real-life emergency self-defense!



June 18-22:
Half Day: Super Hero Stage Combat Workshop
Ages 5-6
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Cost: $105

Students who love super heroes and love the believability of stage fighting, will love this workshop! The students will spend each day learning fighting positions, choreography, discipline, physical training and acting for the performance combat show to be presented Friday evening of their workshop week. **BONUS … Lessons in how to handle real-life bullying.



June 25-July 6:
2 Week Musical: Jungle Book Kids
Ages: 7-13
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Cost: $375 Total for 2 weeks

Performances will be the evenings of Friday, July 6th and Saturday, July 7th.
Audition Day and Time: Monday, June 18th from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. (Auditions held only to determine parts.)

The jungle is jumpin' with jazz is this exciting Disney classic! Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and the gang as they swing their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan. Specially adapted from the beloved film, this musical includes all your favorite Disney tunes, like "The Bare Necessities," and "I Wanna Be Like You."

Students will spend each rehearsal day learning songs, choreography and dialogue to perform the entire musical and full-scale production at the end of only 2 weeks! All participants will audition for their role one week prior to camp starting so they can get a jump on memorization! Be a part of this unique cast experience and learn how a whole show can come together in only 2 weeks! It's an experience you don't want to miss!

Annie is a spunky orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, in the end, Annie finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks.

"Annie: A Musical Revue" is filled with songs and choreography from the beloved musical Annie. Being a revue, the students will not be performing an abridged version of the show, but will get to learn selected songs and choreography from the show. Students will still get to play their favorite roles in their favorite tunes like "Hard Knock Life" and "Tomorrow!" The students will perform the revue Friday evening of their workshop week. Other activities include Theater Games and Team Time.



Aug. 6-Aug. 10:
Half Day: Production Designer Workshop
Ages: 12+
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Cost: $105

This is for those older students who have a serious interest in all aspects of the performing arts. Whether interested in music, dance, theater or art, students will be given the opportunity to learn what it is really like to put together a production. Participants will be placed in teams and given a dance production or a theatrical production to design from scratch. Each day will focus on a different element of production design: set, lights, costumes, props and casting. Professional directors and designers will teach on all elements, and then teams will be given the green light to begin crafting their production. On the final night of the week, teams will present their productions and design schemes to family and friends.



Aug. 6-Aug. 10:
Half Day: End of Summer Celebration!
Ages: 12+
Monday – Friday: 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Cost: $105

Let's end summer with a bang! Participants will be given the opportunity to participate in our final production of the summer with THEIR OWN TALENT! Students may put together their own solo dance, song, instrumental or other creative talent, or they may choose to prepare something with other participants. Whatever you choose, have your ideas ready by the first of the week and the TCH professional staff will be on hand to work with you to polish up your routine and make it performance ready. Additionally, we will teach everyone a group opening and closing number. This is the week to truly show off your God-given talents and celebrate the end of a wonderful summer! We will end the week with an on-stage FREE performance for all of your friends and family!
