By partnering with business and community, the STAR program provides to at-risk young people high quality instruction in the performing arts and the skills to succeed in life.

STAR programs are custom-made to best fit the needs or desires of each individual organization.  STAR has a variety of disciplines in theater, dance, music, and visual arts.  Available to students in each program are opportunities to perform in special presentations, video, audio recordings, live stage productions and concerts. Students will also have opportunities to attend live performances by professional artists and companies.

With STAR administering and monitoring each step of the program, organizations need only to gather their students. The STAR program sends its professional teaching staff and they plan and teach their specific class and report their progress.
