Ray Nelson has been involved in music teaching and training for the past 20 years. He graduated from Northwest University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. After spending several years working with choral music groups in the Seattle, Washington area, Ray joined the music faculty of Y.W.A.M. University of the Nations in Hawaii, where he trained music teams and travelled around the world. Here in Kansas City, Ray has been a part of the music department of Grace Training Center and has maintained a private piano teaching studio in Overland Park for the past seven years. Ray, along with his wife Maxine, and three children, stay actively involved with music in their church and community.
