This Shakespeare course is designed with the intent of attacking the primary Shakespearian acting texts in order to prepare him or her to approach them without fear while retaining respect for the discipline they demand from the actor. The course will concentrate on Shakespeare's Tragedies, with a specific concentration on Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Othello. It will build upon the disciplines learned in previous Acting classes while incorporating scansion and stylized movement.
