Dance For Musical Theater
Broadway is world famous for its spirited dancing in Musical Theater productions that have captured the hearts of generations of theater goers. The Culture House Dance for Theater classes are geared to equip the 'triple threat', multi-talented performer to be well-versed in the foundations of dance used in Musical Theater.

Open Ballet: AGES 12-Adult
Thu: 6:30-7:30
This is a once a week ballet class for teens and adults who have had some ballet training in the past and wish to continue their dance education or just want a class to stay in shape. This class is also perfect for jazz or musical theater students who need a solid ballet foundation on which to build their skills. Open ballet proceeds at a more relaxed pace than our other ballet classes.

Jazz/Tap Combo
Thu: 6:30-7:30
A combination class to introduce and strengthen Jazz and Tap techniques. This class is especially valuable to the musical theater student as well as the ballet student interested in broadening their dance abilities.

Jazz 1 for Theater
Tue: 6:30-7:30
Consists of foundational jazz dance elements including; counting & timing, directional changing, spotting, body alignment, contractions, isolations, jumps, turns and combinations. Dancers will also experience center core strengthening and stretching.

Movement for the Actor
Tue: 6:30-7:30
Taught by TOBIN JAMES. This course serves theater students by providing them with the experience of learning many dance steps and routines commonly used in auditions and productions, while developing their posture, coordination and confidence related to developing unique and defined physical characters.
