One of the most dynamic departments at The Culture House is our School of Art. Due to merging with local program, Silver Tree Visual Arts Academy, we are now able to offer a wider variety of classes and workshops. Ken Deladurantaye will direct the program and teach most of the classes together with Culture House favorite, Matt Fox. Classes and workshops will not only equip students with artistic skill, but also expand and encourage their imagination and confidence. You can study art at The Culture House at your own pace and grow as fast you want. Super-grow is also a speed we offer!  Join the growing list of students who have found their gift in visual art and their tribe at The Culture House.

Whether it is expressing our heartfelt emotions, raising our spirits, or uniting all of humanity through its power and beauty, music has become integral to our daily lives. Music also has a broad range of benefits in the healthy development of every child. The discipline needed to learn a musical instrument combined with the creativity and expressiveness that brings music to life stimulates the healthy development of our minds and personalities. Classes include private voice and private instrument lessons, as well as our Homeschool Choir and Showtunes Showoff.

Into the Woods - August 6th-9th at Yardley Hall

The company that brought you the critically acclaimed production of LES MISERABLES (Yardley Hall, summer 2013) and the Internationally award-winning production of BIG RIVER (Kauffman Center, summer 2014), now brings you the incredible Tony Award Winning, and Golden Globe and Academy Award nominated, INTO THE WOODS! (Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Book by James Lapine.)

As the result of the curse of a once-beautiful witch, a baker and his wife are childless. Three days before the rise of a blue moon, they venture into the forest to find the ingredients that will reverse the spell and restore the witch's beauty: a milk-white cow, hair as yellow as corn, a blood-red cape, and a slipper of gold. During their journey, they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack, each one on a quest to fulfill a wish. Everyone's wishes are granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
