Welcome to my Reviews! This is something that I have wanted to do for years, and finally I have been given a venue in which to do it. I’ll begin by explaining the structure of my reviews.

Overall Rating: Out of 10. How good I thought the movie was.

Content Descriptors: Language, Violence, Gore, Sexuality, and Nudity. I will rank these on a scale from 0 to 5 with 5 being the most severe.

Mainly, there will be two types of people reading these reviews: 1) people who want to know if it’s good enough to spend their money to see it, and 2) those who want to know if it is appropriate for their 14 year old son to see or not.

So, I will touch on both quality and content. I will say whether or not I liked it; however, one of my favorite movies is about a hit man who adopts a twelve-year-old girl, so you should decide for yourself to see a movie simply on my recommendation. Look at the content and quality descriptors to decide if you want to see it or not. For instance, I may love a movie that is very violent or full of language (not BECAUSE of the violence or language, just a movie containing it), but that would not be appropriate for your 8th grader. Others I think will be horrible, either because of the content or because its just not very well done, but it might be appropriate for your family. Who knows?

In conclusion, I must state a blanket philosophy I have about movies in general. MOVIES ARE FICTITIOUS. They are fiction just like a book would be considered fiction, and they must be taken as such. I HATE it when someone completely hates a movie because it was “unrealistic.” Of course, it was unrealistic! Why would you want to go see something that was entirely realistic? Personally, I get enough of reality in reality. So, please remember that my reviews will be based on this philosophy, and that not all movies are appropriate for all audiences. Hope you find these reviews helpful, and please feel free to contact me with any feedback or requests for specific reviews. Thank You!
