School of Music

Registration

At The Culture House School of Music, students of all ages, abilities and levels develop skills and a love of music through private lessons. Private music study is offered year-round and includes classical, contemporary, jazz and popular styles for all ages, including adults.

The Culture House has a faculty of professional musicians and educators. Most TCH music instructors also perform and/or record regularly. Each instructor is an independent contractor and sets his or her own lesson fees and schedule (see Private Lesson Registration below).

TCH offers much more than outstanding private teaching. Students will have opportunities to play, listen, and perform in various music school programs and in tandem with other Culture House departments. Students are also encouraged to attend concerts (especially those featuring Culture House faculty), productions, workshops and classes on theory, musicianship, music history, and other topics.

Lessons take place once a week at a regularly scheduled time and may be 30, 45, or 60 minutes in length. Students must have access to an instrument for daily practice.
