Join The Culture House Dance Academy for Dancer Boot Camp this summer.
The Culture House Dance Academy offers a 2 weeks dance marathon in Ballet, Modern and Jazz. Classes will focus on technique, combinations and learning challenging performance pieces in short period of time. They will be taken on a journey that will electrify their brain, mold their bodies and prepare them to face the coming years. The Student will learn under The Culture House’s finest including: Courtney Kierl-Bourman; Störling Dance Theater, Tulsa Ballet Theatre, Ballet Omaha, and the Kansas City Ballet, Tawny Gentry; Störling Dance Theater, MAXXAS Dance Theatre, Ad Deum, Santa Clarita Ballet Academy, Marc Wayne; Störling Dance Theater, MAXXAS Dance Theatre, Ballet Magnificat, commercials, music videos, concert tours; performed with Gus Giordano, Ben Vereen, Carman, Willie Aames, Cam Floria, Amy Grant, Ron Kenoly, Alexandra Wilson; Störling Dance Theater, Conservatory of Music & Dance at the University of Missouri
PLACEMENT CLASS
The first class of the week will be considered as a placement class to confirm the appropriate level of the students; Students will be assigned to beginner, intermediate & advanced levels.
DRESS CODE
Everyone will need proper dance attire, a pair of Ballet and Jazz shoes. Please dress modestly. No Midriff allowed.
LOCATION AND HOUSING
Boot Camp will be held at The Culture House, in Olathe KS. There are several Restaurants, Hotels and Inns walking distance Some Culture House families have expressed their desire to open their homes to our out of state students.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
If you are flying in, we would prefer that you come on Sunday & leave on Saturday after noon. The airport is the Kansas International Airport in Missouri (MCI) and about 45 minute from The Culture House. The Culture House provides a shuttle service to and from for $40. Please make sure you give us your arrival/departure time in advance. Thank you!
CHECK IN
Registration will be at The Culture House and begin at 8:30 am on Monday July 14th.
REFUNDS
$15 Fee after May 1st, 2008. No refunds after July 10.
